Team SGS has just returned from Shanghai where they were hosted by one of the biggest manufacturers of Chinese bathroom furniture.

A dense and inspirational agenda for SGS: a visit to the Kitchen & Bath China 2017 fair, to SHKL Sanitary Ware company and intense work meetings to define development plans.

The focus of the project is bathroom design oriented on international market beyond China.

SGS returns to product design again after the success of GIGI Lamp and Contemporary Dummy previously presented during Milano Design Week Fuori Salone.

Stay tuned for all project updates.

VIVIMILANO AWARDS – FOOD & DRINK 2017: over 400 candidates, 30 winners.

El Porteño restaurant, project signed by SGS, received the Scenic Environment Special Prize in the category Restaurants from the World.

“It is fair to say, without any doubt, that it is the most beautiful, comfortable and spectacular. It is inspired by “tango” atmosphere, divided into three rooms of remarkable aesthetic impact” are the words from ViviMilano’s article referred to the Argentine restaurant in Via Galeazzo in Milano.

In viale Elvezia, however, we find almost its twin room: a confirmation of the success of the format. El Porteño surprises from the entrance with a great scenic effect, one of the kind. The place, in fact, develops over an irregular elongated plan, where the modern and spacious kitchen is the heart. From here we explore different environments, all with their own personality but strongly linked by a common language.

An ambitious and successful architectural project for SGS which brings an authentic Argentinian experience to the heart of Milan. The real secret is in the details: each element here speaks about Argentina. Beginning from the cement floor to the furniture featuring restored pieces which arrived directly from across the ocean. All of this is surrounded by the familiar and warm South American atmosphere which for one evening will make you forget about being in the heart of Milan.
